On a late Friday afternoon in early October, Hurricane Matthew paid a visit to The Golf Club of Amelia Island, Florida.  Trees were down throughout the course, as well as extensive damage occurred to the newly built restrooms.  However, as the golfers stepped onto the tee for their shotgun start on Tuesday of our annual meeting, the course was pristine and ready for play. 32 golfers enjoyed an afternoon of “fun in the sun”.  It was hard to believe that on this beautiful fall day only a month before, “Matthew” had paid his visit.  Four individuals won “Closest To The Pin” on the four Par 3s of the course.  Congratulations to…

Mike Grier, Wayne Brown, Bucky Kennedy and Michael Boden!
