Rep. Lamar Smith (R-TX), chairman of the science panel, is faulting EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy’s testimony at an oversight hearing into the agency’s controversial registration review of the world’s most commonly-used herbicide glyphosate, saying a new committee analysis suggests there are contradictions in McCarthy’s statements.
