Removal of Solidago albopilosa (White-haired Goldenrod) From the Federal List of Endangered and Threatened Plants

White-haired Goldenrod, a plant found in eastern Kentucky – The US Fish and Wildlife Service has issued a Final Rule that removes the species from the Federal List of Endangered and Threatened Plants “… based on a thorough review of the best available scientific and commercial information, which indicates that the threats to this species have been eliminated or reduced to the point that the species no longer meets the definition of an endangered or threatened species under the Endangered Species Act … This rule also announces the availability of a final post-delisting monitoring (PDM) plan for white-haired goldenrod …”
