Bad Math Underpins Trump’s Claim That Corporate Tax Cuts Will Boost Workers’ Pay by $4k

The White House Council of Economic Advisers put out a paper this week defending a very bold prediction: A cut in the corporate tax rate from 35 percent to 20 percent would boost incomes of U.S. workers by at least $4,000 a year. This has become a favorite talking point for President Trump.
