USDA Warns Against Organic Label Use on Fumigated Produce

A letter from the U.S. Department of Agriculture has reminded all Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act licensees that fresh produce irradiated or fumigated for pest exclusion reasons can’t be labeled as organic.
