NAHB Settlement Clarifies ‘Critical Habitat’ for Endangered Species

NAHB and three other national trade associations have reached a major settlement agreement with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and National Marine Fisheries Service, committing the Services to reconsider two rules finalized by the previous Administration that made sweeping and unlawful changes to long-existing Endangered Species Act (ESA) regulations.

Pruitt Signs Endangered Species Act Memorandum

U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Scott Pruitt spoke at the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture Winter Policy Conference and signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) establishing an interagency Working Group to evaluate and improve the Endangered Species Act consultation process for pesticide registration.   Read more
